Following the announcement that Sword of the Vagrant would be released on Nintendo Switch next month, Rainy Frog and developer O.T.K. Games released a debut video. This gives you a good peek at the next fantasy action RPG.
The Vagrant’s ultimate name is Sword of the Vagrant, which was revealed to Switch in 2020.
About Sword of the Vagrant
Vagrant Sword is a top-down 2D hack and slash set in feudal Japan. You play as a lone rnin, a clanless samurai wandering through a tiny town recently besieged by an army of demons that have taken up home in the local pagoda.
While you mount the pagoda, the townspeople, albeit exhausted and beaten, will provide whatever support they can. You must battle your way through an infinite wave of demons, armed only with your wooden training sword, to reach the summit and face their commander. As each level is completed, be sure to stock up on important things from the town’s blacksmith and item merchant.
