If you have played Team Sonic Racing on your Nintendo Switch, you may have noticed that the game doesn’t have an opening cutscene.
That while there is one;
Intentional … and stupid
According to SEGA, this was intentional. Other versions of the game have the cutscene, but SEGA told USGamer that “the intro cutscene was removed from Nintendo Switch build of Team Sonic Racing due to the cartridge size restrictions. At this time, there are no plans to add the cutscene back in via patch”.
Well … if that is the way SEGA approaches games from now on then please just let other parties handle the Sonic franchise from now on. Sad to see that such a big brand thinks this is a win … it will only frustrate people. Not even patching it in … is just outright stupid.
