Nintendo announced the next Maximus Cup competition for Tetris 99, featuring a crossover with Paper Mario: The Origami King.
The 15th Tetris 99 Maximus cup that starts on July 31st, and can be unlocked just by playing the game online.

The Tetris 99 15th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12 a.m. PT on July 31 to 11:59 p.m. PT on August 3. To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period.
