Nintendo announced the next Maximus Cup competition for Tetris 99. The 24th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99 will give players a chance to earn a special theme based on WarioWare: Get It Together! by accumulating 100 event points. It will begin later this week on 17 September 2021, and run till 20 September 2021.
24th MAXIMUS CUP
The Tetris 99 24th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12 a.m. PT on September 17 to 11:59 p.m. PT on September 20.Â
To participate, you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. You’ll earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you’ve accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by the WarioWare: Get It Together! game!
