About Tetris Effect: Connected

It doesn’t matter whether you play in a local or online multiplayer setting, or how you play the game; everything is connected!

The effect of Tetris®: Reinventing one of the most popular puzzle games of all time, Connected is an incredibly addictive, one-of-a-kind, and breathtakingly beautiful reinvention of Tetris. It comes from the same people who brought you the award-winning puzzle game Rez Infinite as well as the legendary puzzle game Lumines.

Because the music, backgrounds, sounds, special effects, and everything else—right down to the Tetriminos themselves—pulse, dance, shimmer, and explode in perfect sync with how you play, any of the game’s more than 30 stages and more than 10 modes will be something you’ll want to play over and over again.

Furthermore, cross-platform multiplayer features that let you compete against other players or work together!

• Over 30 distinct levels, each with its own music, sound effects, graphical style, and backdrop, all of which grow and change as you play through them. • A single-player experience that is both exciting and full of unexpected twists and turns.

The Zone is a brand-new gameplay mechanism that was developed just for Tetris Effect: • Features an all-new “Zone” gameplay element, in which players may halt time (and the dropping of Tetriminos) by entering “the Zone,” allowing them to either escape a sticky position that would otherwise result in “Game Over” or rack up more Line Clears for bonus prizes.

You’ll be able to compete against gamers from all around the globe if the game supports cross-platform multiplayer.

• The new Room ID feature makes it possible for players on various platforms to quickly and easily join Friend Match rooms.

A huge selection of different competitive and cooperative game styles!

• Among the new game modes are “CONNECTED,” in which three players can form a coalition and literally connect their Tetris Matrices to take on A.I.-controlled Bosses; “Zone Battle,” a one-on-one match of standard competitive Tetris with a twist: the time-stopping Zone mechanic; and “Score Attack” and “Classic Score Attack,” two single-player versus modes in which two players compete separately to see who can get the highest score.

Participate in the excitement by selecting the Spectator option.

• The Spectator mode is accessible while playing against friends in Friend Matches. A maximum of eight individuals are permitted inside of a room. The competition may be made more exciting by allowing spectators to utilize emotes while it is going on.
