Improx Games has announced a release date for The Last Cube, its next puzzle adventure game. On March 10, 2022, the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was first unveiled in April. The game was set to be released in 2021 at the time.

The Last Cube is a lushly atmospheric puzzle game in which you must guide a cube through a maze of dark, monolithic halls while unraveling the mystery of this strange planet. Explore a diverse range of brutalist architecture, from gloomy nightmare abysses to oppressive lava-lit industries to uplifting natural vistas with brilliant beams of sunlight glinting off mountains. The Last Cube is a somber, cryptic puzzler that totally immerses you in its derelict environment, thanks to an enormous music that adds to the atmosphere and an abstract tale of a fading planet on the verge of collapse.
Each level of The Last Cube provides a new sort of sticker that you may attach to one of your cube’s sides, creating a whole new mechanic. Some will let you sprint past obstacles, some will let you build improvised steps, and still others will let you teleport across bottomless chasms or summon temporary but handy cube companions. As you rush through The Last Cube’s over 100 puzzles, positioning your cube to earn the appropriate stickers on the proper surface may vary from pleasingly simple to cruel mind scratchers. New mechanics are taught at a quick pace, thus broadening one’s understanding of what your cube can do.
