Nicalis has announced that The Binding of Isaac: The Prequel would be released for the Nintendo Switch. The Legend of Bum-bo will be released digitally for the time being, but a physical edition is planned for next year. The game will be available for $19.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop on Wednesday, June 29th.
About The Legend of Bum-bo
When a strange creature steals Bum-sole bo’s coin and drags him down into the sewer, he is confronted with hordes of mad foes, missing children, his phobias, and, finally, the beast that took his cherished coin.
Gameplay
The Legend of Bum-bo is a puzzle-based “deckbuilding roguelike” developed by Edmund McMillen (The Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy) and James Interactive in which players amass hordes of things that may be tweaked, enhanced, and combined in a variety of creative ways. Play as one of many Bum-bos, each with their own special skills, as they smash, bash, and splash their way through a variety of cardboard monstrosities, huge monsters, and terrible personal desires…
Oh, and it’s also a prequel to The Binding of Isaac!
