During Nintendo’s E3 Direct, Nintendo announced a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now in development.

Nintendo has fully exploited the famous “one more thing” during the E3 this year: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is getting a sequel! We saw Zelda and Link in a trailer strolling through a dungeon on horseback.
Nintendo was really light on details, but a teaser trailer for the Breath of the Wild sequel shows a familiar-looking Hyrule, Link and Zelda exploring dark dungeons, and what appears to be a more horrifying theme.
In the trailer, Link and Zelda ride a beast down to an underground lair, where an ancient evil, adorned with what appear to be Gerudo visual cues, is growing.
A dungeon full of magical characters and even a freakin scary zombie … Could it be Ganondorf?
What we can expect is still a big mystery. It does seem through the images that we can once again explore a great world.Â
The game is in development for Nintendo Switch. No further details are known at this time.
