The upcoming The World Ends With You: Final Remix will not feature Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support.
The news was confirmed by Nintendo via US Gamer. There are two control methods for The World Ends With You: Final Remix and those are touchscreen for playing in handheld mode, or if you are playing docked, then you use a solo Joy Con with motion reticle aiming.

I asked a Nintendo representative if a traditional control scheme with a Pro controller will be supported, to which they confirmed won’t be possible. It’s solo Joy Con with motion reticle aiming and touch screen or bust.
Well it’s a shame if we are limited in control options but if it makes sense then we are generally fine with it. But still options make for happy people in general.
