A free demo version of the game is scheduled to become available on the Nintendo Switch eShop on February 1, 2023, according to an announcement made by Square Enix. The full version of the game is scheduled to be released on February 16, 2023.
This demo will have a total of 30 tracks for users to sample in its entirety.
About THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE
THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE is the most comprehensive rhythm action game in the series. It has a staggering 385 FINAL FANTASY songs in the base edition alone, with an additional 27 available in the Deluxe Editions. In addition, there will be a number of downloadable content packs available, each incorporating music from a different Square Enix game or series, such as NieR, OCTOPATH TRAVELER, LIVE A LIVE, Mana, SaGa, and others.
The sample provides you with a substantial selection of 30 songs from that enormous collection, so you can get a feel for the variety of music available.
There are three distinct categories for the game’s musical stages:
- The Combat Music Stage (BMS) challenges players to vanquish waves of foes while keeping time to fast-paced battle tunes.
- Field Music Stage (FMS) – Take a trip with a group of friends across several themed settings while listening to soothing field music.
- Play to the rhythm against the background of memorable sequences from each game on the Event Music Stage (EMS).
