Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is nearing its release date. Konami has been steadily revealing further data on the 13 titles featured in the collection, and earlier they offered additional information.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters, one of the titles in the collection, will contain rollback net-code for online play, according Konami. The inclusion of the Mega Drive/Genesis and NES versions of the game in the collection has not yet been confirmed.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam®, and Nintendo SwitchTM on August 30. KONAMI collaborated with game developer Digital Eclipse to expertly adapt these classics for modern gaming systems with a fantastic set of quality-of-life features, including save at any time and rewind, button mapping, and added online play for certain games, with local couch play where originally intended for all titles.

The games are themed on the characters and concepts of the 1980s children’s television and comic book series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and often take place in a fictionalized New York City, the sewers, futuristic enemy strongholds, and even beyond time! In conjunction with Nickelodeon, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will also offer an abundance of extras using pictures from the original cartoons, comics, and other historic TMNT media material in a Museum bridging the franchise’s different genres.
