Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch received multiple awards at the Tokyo Game Show 2019.

The game received the following awards;
- Game of the Year Award
- Minister of Economy
- Trade and Industry Award
- Best Sales Award
- Award for Excellence
Mr. Sakurai was thankfully on hand to pick up these awards. It wasn’t just Super Smash Bros Ultimate which came away a winner for Nintendo. Also Nintendo Labo received a Special Award.
We bet we are going to see more Game of the Year awards come up with Super Smash Bros Ultimate as it missed the window for being eligible.
