President and lead developer of VideoLan, Jean-Baptiste Kempf, has said that he is considering the future of VLC.

Reporting on VLC here would be weird if that did not tie into a Nintendo console right? That future  includes bringing the media player to video game systems such as the Nintendo Switch and Sony’s PlayStation 4.
Mr. Kempf says it is something that they are currently considering, so it might be a while before we see the product on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
But like with other things that where considered, let’s not get out hopes up just yet. Do we remember Discord or ehh Netflix. Both would be welcome on the system but while we approach the end of the second year of the Nintendo’s Switch … they are still nowhere to be found.
