Nintendo would remain focused on the current model for the time being.
Especially with the handhelds, Nintendo is known to regularly come up with new versions of a system on the market. If we are to believe the reports from the Wall Street journal, that will not be the case with the Nintendo Switch for the time being.
But what does this mean for the Nintendo Switch
Takashi Mochizuki, Wall Street Journal’s Japanese correspondent, would have learned from reliable sources that Nintendo continues to focus on the current model. The existing USB-C connection would also be widely used in hardware extensions and for online possibilities.
Nintendo itself has not (yet) confirmed this reporting.
