Monolith Soft has given hints about what the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 story DLC will include.
Genki Yokota of Nintendo said, “We’re thinking about making it as big as Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country in terms of content.” In the same interview, he would later say that the DLC “will have a lot of content that won’t let you down” in terms of volume.
About Story DLC Size
Yokota and Koh Kojima, who works for Monolith Soft, said the following:
Yokota: We’re offering an extra Expansion Pass, which is something to think about after you’ve played this game. At the end of the Expansion Pass, we’ll add a new story, and we’re thinking about making it as big as Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country. We hope that people who liked that content and people who haven’t seen it before will read it.
There will be a lot of content that won’t let you down… I’m talking again about how loud it is. (Laughs)
Kojima: I wasn’t able to help make the Expansion Pass, but from the outside, it looks like a lot of fun. I hope you’re looking forward to it!
The story DLC will come out by the end of 2023, on December 31.
