Tune in on Thursday 4th March at 14.00 UK time / 15.00 CET for an in-depth look at the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter, Pyra/Mythra, with director Masahiro Sakurai.
He will also reveal the exact fighter’s release date!
The presentation will be roughly 35 minutes long, and there will be no further new fighter announcements.
About Pyra and Mythra
Pyra and Mythra are very unique fighters as for one they revisit the concept that Zelda and Sheik which started all the way back in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The two characters are able to switch between each other freely, with Pyra having heavy hitting fire attacks and Mythra using fast light attacks. From what can be seen in the initial trailer, their special moves are unique and flashy, taking inspiration from the source material with over the top sword moves.
Pyra’s Smash attacks are also said to be powered up with fire but Mr Sakurai will surely show us all they are capable of in the upcoming presentation.
