13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim’s publisher Atlus and developer Vanillaware released a new “Calamities” gameplay video, as well as revealing that the Nintendo Switch version of the game is now available for purchase ahead of its April 12, 2022 release date.
You can obtain great additional art cards if you preorder the physical standard edition of 13 Sentinels on Switch at Amazon, GameStop, or Best Buy (pictured above). Meanwhile, the Switch eShop has the digital standard version available for presale, although it lacks any added features.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim was released only on PlayStation 4 in North America in 2020, and needless to say, it was a smash hit. Part science fiction visual novel, half real-time strategy game, the game features huge robots fighting against a kaiju invasion. The story follows 13 distinct people, several of whom seem to be unrelated and live in separate historical periods. However, as the narrative twists and turns, you see how it all fits together, and it’s fairly amazing. It might sometimes go into typical anime melodrama and nonsense, but it doesn’t take away from it being a very unique and unforgettable gaming experience.
