Nintendo support announced that Netflix will no longer be available for download on the Wii U and 3DS starting this year. Users can re-download them but the service will end completely in about six months.

The Netflix app was removed from Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS Family systems on Dec 31st, 2020. They are no longer available for new users to download. It is possible for existing users to re-download these applications at this time. Service for both applications will be discontinued on June 30th, 2021.

What does that mean for Netflix on Nintendo?
This means that there are now no Nintendo consoles that let players watch Netflix since the Nintendo Switch has still not received the service after almost 4 years. So does this mean the streaming service will finally come to the Nintendo Switch?
