Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl – version 1.2.0 patch notes

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl received a new 1.2.0 update. It contains a maximum player expansion for Union Rooms, as well as a new Colosseum fight element.

Version 1.2.0 patch notes

  • The Union Room’s capabilities have been enhanced.
    • In Union Rooms, the maximum number of players you may communicate with through local or online communication has been raised to eight. You may also show each other your Trainer Cards or Capsule Decorations by choosing Greeting or Capsule Decorations.
  • A new Colosseum fight mode has been introduced to the game.
    • Battle with other players using custom rulesets in the Colosseum on the second level of a Pokémon Center.
    • You may define restrictions in the Colosseum, like as how many Pokémon to send into combat and their levels, and play Single Battles, Double Battles, or Multi Battles through local or internet connection.
  • Trading and Battles with Pokémon
    • Some Pokémon obtained via unexpected means or illegal modification are no longer eligible for Link Trades or Link Battles.
  • Some bugs have been fixed for a more enjoyable gaming experience.

Version 1.1.3 of the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl patch was released in December. That update, on the other hand, was only a bug fix. There were no new features or significant enhancements incorporated.

The Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl 1.2.0 update is now available to all users.
