There are new rumors about when Sonic Prime, the upcoming animated Netflix show about everyone’s favorite blue hedgehog, will release.
The most recent clue comes from a poster that got out and was shared by @TelevisionSpill on Twitter. At the bottom of this poster, which looks like it was made by a real company, is the date December 15. Notably, this date is the same as what Toru Nakahara, who made the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, said before: that the show would start in December 2022.
Sadly his tweet has since been removed but noted; On December 15, Sonic Prime will be available on Netflix. This is the official poster for the show. #SonicTheHedgehog and #SonicThePrime
At the time this was written, Netflix and SEGA had not yet confirmed this date for Sonic Prime’s release. On September 20, 2022, it was announced that the show would start with one episode that was 40 minutes long and seven episodes that were 20 minutes long.
About Sonic Prime
Sonic Prime is called a “high-octane adventure” and a “journey of self-discovery and redemption” that follows Sonic as he races to save a “strange new multiverse.”
When Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman fight hard, the universe breaks apart. This forces Sonic to go on a quest to fix the Shatterverse and save his friends, whom he had taken for granted up until that point.
Along the way, Sonic meets new people and learns about new worlds.
