Interesting news about a potential sequel to the award winning game Cuphead.
During the Bancroft Brothers podcast hosted by the director of Disney’s Mulan, the director revealed he had received three major 2D animation job offers.

One of the job offers is for a sequel to a major video game that was popular last year.
The director also added that one of the job offers required people to create old-school scanned-in drawings for their games, unlike the majority of game developers digitally animating their games. The only major game to have done this for a long long time is Cuphead, so this could very well mean that a sequel to Cuphead is in the works.
But keep in mind this is just us speculating it could also be for the upcoming DLC which was announced earlier;
It is entirely possible the animator misspoke and is referring to this DLC as opposed to a brand new game. So no matter how likely it might seem that the game in question is Cuphead — we can’t be sure it’s Cuphead 2 just yet.
