[FACT] FIFA 18 to introduce free World Cup 2018 mode

Nintendo Switch owners who have a copy of FIFA 18 will no doubt be excited to hear that a rumor is going around that a full World Cup 2018 mode will be added to the game.

Free? say what now?!

UK news publication The Sun says that it’s coming to all versions of FIFA 18 and will be a downloadable add-on and interestingly it will apparently be free.

So while it is not a Nintendo Switch exclusive or anything it does get’s listed as free which is really a curveball. Let’s face it it’s an EA game and free might just not be in their vocabulary. Then again they might want to create some good faith with games across the world following the whole pay to win lootbox situations etc.

But as always with rumors we need to wait until EA itself gives feedback on this.
