Last week there were rumors about a possible port of the popular hack & slash game Diablo III, there are now new rumors on top.
Who Blizzard Entertainment follows on Twitter is certainly not missed. On Wednesday, February 28, they placed a very remarkable tweet. The text in the tweet was not that special, only the words “Sweet dreams.” Were posted.
What made the tweet so interesting was the accompanying video. A nightlight of a little devil that was “switched” on and off a number of times.

The link was quickly made with a possible port of Diablo III for the Nintendo Switch.

However, Blizzard Entertainment itself did not want to confirm this. They indicated in a following tweet that they would never tease themselves in such a creative way. They also said that at this moment they could not announce anything about a possible port. They did not really negate the rumor.

Eurogamer has heard from a new source that a Diablo III port is actually in the making. When it comes out is not yet known. It is also not yet clear whether the extensions “Reapers of Souls” and “Rise of the Necromancer” will be incorporated in the game.
So … are you still waiting for a port of this six-year-old game? Or would you rather see a new part especially for the Nintendo Switch? Or do you still think it’s a hoax?
