More possible information regarding the long-awaited Metroid Prime 4 on the Nintendo Switch has surfaced.
The game could feature an online component according to a LinkedIn page from one of the developers. It wouldn’t be too far-fetched to imagine that the game will have some form of online multiplayer in this day and age, but we shall have to wait and see.
Multiplayer Metroid
In the past Metroid did experiment with multiplayer in Metroid Prime 2. but it was not all that well received. And in all fairness; Metroid in our minds has always been about the single player campaign which was always more the impressive.
We would even go as far as to say that due to it being so great multiplayer was never ever needed or even desired. But still we see the question coming up every now and again; will the new Metroid featured multiplayer. Our honest answer; we sure as hell hope not!
