Actually the URL method does not work anymore, at least as it seems to me. Tried this while my hotel stay with the captive page doesn’t come up and I received an error massage, that I wouldn’t be allowed to enter the server like this. Appeared through Safari, Edge and Firefox, always the same. The captive page came up from time to time after “soft resetting” the internet connection and with a bit of luck I was able to enter my password but most of the time I was redirected to the network page in the settings before I finished entering. Felt a bit like shiny hunting, waiting for the different colored pixels to show up and hopefully without fleeing from me 😄
