Blizzard is producing a survival game for consoles and pc

Blizzard has stated it is working on a survival game set in a new world for consoles and PC, and that it is currently hiring additional people to work on it.

Beyond that, there are few details, since the announcement is mostly designed to collect resumes from game creators. The universe of this new survival game, according to Blizzard, is “full of heroes we have yet to meet, tales we have yet to tell, and experiences we have yet to live,” and the project is still in its “early stages.” In addition to the concept art seen above, there is another piece of concept art depicting two fairly regular adolescents riding a bicycle.

New survival dream game?

“Even some of the most frustrated Blizzard workers adore this game/team,” according to Bloomberg writer Jason Schreier, which is reassuring.

However, when Microsoft announced the surprising decision to buy Activision Blizzard, it sparked optimism that the firm would be able to transform its culture and let creators to focus on projects other than Call of Duty, a wish shared by several AB developers.
