ESA issues E3 2023 statement regarding Nintendo, Microsoft & Sony skipping the event

You may remember that IGN stated that their sources have told them that Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo would all be skipping E3 2023. This may bring back some memories for you. ReedPop was the only company to comment at the time the allegation was made, although their response didn’t actually do much to assist assuage people’s fears.

Now, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued its own statement in response to the findings, which they released earlier today. On the other hand, if you were unhappy with the statement that ReedPop provided, you shouldn’t expect the ESA’s to make things any better.

ESA statement E3 2023

“As you have probably seen by now, IGN released an article about E3 late yesterday night,” We are unable to comment on the particular assertions made in the story, but we did wish to convey our commitment to continuing our work with E3.

“The E3 convention has a long and illustrious history within our sector, and it never fails to inspire us when we get a sense of the enthusiasm that attendees have for the event and find out what the convention means to them personally. Reviving a tradeshow after a three-year hiatus and a global pandemic was always going to have its challenges, which is why we conducted an extensive search (in consultation with the ESA member companies) to identify the best partner to produce E3 and find out who would be the most qualified to do so. We have been able to draw into ReedPOP’s extensive experience of producing major industry events, such as PAX, and larger consumer exhibitions, such as Comic Con, as a result of our decision to chose ReedPOP as our partner.

“They have made significant headway in changing the event, and they have gotten enormous support from industry organizations of all kinds.” “These industry companies are not just thinking about E3 2023, but also how E3 fits into marketing plans for 2024 and beyond,”

“It’s crucial to emphasize that even if the show changes and adapts, it will not have an influence on the heart of ESA’s work for its member firms. This is something that you should keep in mind. The promotion and defense of your policy objectives at the national and state levels continues to be our top focus.

“As fresh information and developments about E3 become available, we will share them with you. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any inquiries in the meantime. I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support.
