The Evolution Championship Series has revealed the official schedule of games that will be played throughout the year 2023. This year, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (EVO) will take place from August 4th to August 6th, 2023, and will include tournaments for the following games:
Games at Evo 2023
- Dragon Ball FighterZ (fourth appearance at EVO)
- Guilty Gear: Strive (second appearance at EVO)
- The King of Fighters XV (second appearance at EVO)
- Melty Blood: Type Lumina (second appearance at EVO)
- Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate (third appearance at EVO)
- Street Fighter 6 (first appearance at EVO)
- Tekken 7 (seventh appearance at EVO)
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (seventh appearance at EVO)
Incidentally, Super Smash Bros. is not participating in the tournament for a second time, likely for the same reasons as they did not do so in 2022 when they did not participate. Fans are likely to feel some disappointment as a result of this development since it makes it seem that it is now somewhat less probable that the game will ever return to the competition.

WHEN AND WHERE IS EVO 2023?
Evo will take place beginning on Friday, August 4, 2023 and continuing through Sunday, August 6, 2023. The events that take place on Friday and Saturday will be held in the Bayside D, E, and F Expo Halls located in the South Convention Center at Mandalay Bay. The thrilling Evo 2023 Arena Finals will take place at the Michelob ULTRA Arena on Sunday. Both locations can be reached on foot and are situated at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119. This makes them easily accessible to one another.
