The official Game Freak website keeps a list of major business partners, which include Shogakukan, Shogakukan Production, The Pokemon Company, and Nintendo.
Previously though the list included Creatures Inc, which is mainly responsible for Pokemon TCG and helps to create the models for the mainline Pokemon games.
But as of December 2019 and perhaps even a couple of days Creatures Inc and Shogakukan Production (a subsidiary of Shogakukan) seem to have vanished from the list of major business partners.
What does that mean?
Many Japanese Pokemon fans are shocked by the disappearance of Creatures Inc, as it is a company close to Game Freak and one of three owners of The Pokemon Company. For good reference The Pokemon Company is owned by Nintendo, Creatures Inc, and Game Freak.
Unfortunately we can only speculate at the reason why at this time.
Some believe Creatures Inc could have been purchased by Nintendo or are preparing to shut down, though those two scenarios seem rather unlikely at this time.
