Mortal Kombat History

In honor of the fact that Mortal Kombat has been around for 30 years, a new video has been made that shows how important the franchise has been in three decades of entertainment, from videogames to movies to cartoons.

The commemorative video spans 30 years of bone-crushing content, from the first Mortal Kombat game in 1992 to Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate in 2020, and from the first live-action Mortal Kombat movie in 1995 to the reimagined Mortal Kombat movie in 2021. It also features a visual spotlight on legendary Mortal Kombat fighters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitan Also, new artwork was released today to celebrate Mortal Kombat’s 30th anniversary. It shows some of the game modes, story moments, characters, and finishing moves from the game’s history, all in the shape of the famous dragon logo. As part of the anniversary, Klassic Movie Raiden from the 1995 movie will show up in Mortal Kombat Mobile from October 7 to October 11.
