Fans may now get an early glimpse of Sonic Prime even if they do not have a Netflix membership, after the show’s premiere on the streaming service earlier. The pilot episode of the brand-new animated series can now be seen in its whole and without cost on YouTube.
After an excursion that doesn’t go as planned, Sonic finds himself in a weird parallel universe at the beginning of this first episode, which lasts for a total of forty minutes. However, in order for viewers to find out what happens next, they will have to watch the remaining seven episodes of the first season on Netflix by themselves.

The plot
Sonic the Hedgehog believes he has experienced everything there is to experience, but when his most recent battle with Dr. Eggman shatters the Paradox Prism, he is sent spinning through time and space and into the adventure of a lifetime. As Sonic speeds across the bizarre new realms that make up the Shatterverse, he searches for the recognizable faces of Tails, Rouge, Amy, and Knuckles in the hopes that they would be able to direct him back to Green Hill. There is just one catch: these Shatter Versions of his former friends, who all have new appearances, attitudes, and talents to go along with their new reality, have never heard of Sonic.
This presents quite a challenge. Sonic has to win back the confidence of his pals and demonstrate to them how to work together, which is something that has never come naturally to him. Only then will he be able to put the pieces of his primary reality back together. Sonic’s action-packed adventure becomes more than a race to save the Shatterverse from the evil machinations of Dr. Eggman and his army of Badnik robots when he receives assistance along the way from an unexpected source, his longtime rival Shadow. Instead, it becomes a race to save the friends that he took for granted. Sonic’s gloved hands hold the key to determining the future of the Shatterverse!
As a result, the program will take place in the same environments as those seen in the Sonic video games, and it will feature a more up-to-date version of Sonic.
