The Cuphead Show! has a gorgeous new trailer and a February 18, 2022 release date to show off to the world, thanks to Netflix and Studio MDHR. The new teaser, which is actually much more of a visual feast than we where anticipating, keeps the harsh boss rush video game’s old-timey atmosphere. We completely understand why this project has taken so long to finish. But it seems worth the wait!
About Cuphead
Cuphead is a typical run-and-gun action game with a strong emphasis on boss fights. The images and sounds were meticulously crafted using the same methods as 1930s cartoons, including classic hand drawn cel animation, watercolour backdrops, and real jazz recordings.
Play as Cuphead or Mugman (single player or local co-op) as you travel through bizarre realms, gain new weapons, master strong super abilities, and uncover hidden truths all while attempting to repay the devil for your debt!
More Cuphead is finally coming!
Cuphead was first released in 2017 on Xbox One and PC, and it was later ported to Nintendo Switch in 2019. We’ve been waiting a long time for the game’s big DLC, The Delicious Last Course, which was finally announced last month with a release date of June 30, 2022.
It finally seems like everything is right in the world now that The Cuphead Show! has a February release date and a new Netflix teaser. If you’re interested, the program even has a gamified website where you may learn more about it. The Cuphead Show! will be released in 12 episodes, each lasting 12 minutes, so anticipate some wonderful old-school animated shorts.
