Netflix to remove Super Mario Bros. 3 Cartoon at end of March

March is about to come to a close, Nintendo will soon be discontinuing and removing its catalogue of Super Mario 35th Anniversary products and games, including Super Mario Bros. 35, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, the Super Mario Game & Watch, Super Mario 35 and more.

So long king Mario

Nintendo will not be the only company pulling the plug in regard to Mario related material at the end of his anniversary it seems. Various sources and users noted Netflix will be removing the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon from its platform on March 31st.

All 26 episodes are currently scheduled to be removed from Netflix on March 31st, 2021 and while the show already has found a new streaming home in the United States courtesy of Paramount+, we don’t yet know where it’ll head in Europe for the moment.

It’s not entirely clear whether this move is related to the discontinuation of other Mario themed products at the end of his anniversary, or something Netflix was coincidentally planning all along.
