Nintendo Live returns in 2022

Nintendo Live 2022 will take place later this year in Japan during a two-day weekend, according to Nintendo. Since 2019, the event has been on hiatus. However, Nintendo has chosen to bring it back, although with certain restrictions.

Attendees will be picked at random due to the coronavirus epidemic. Nintendo also advises fans to be careful, such as by donning a mask.

What to expect from Nintendo Live 2022

Fans may expect competitions, playable games, and even musical performances during the event. Tournaments will be held on both days for Splatoon 3 and Super Smash Bros. Event, with a Nintendo Switch Sports tournament taking place on the second day. The games selected for the concerts are Splatoon 3 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (check out the Splatoon 2 one from 2019 here). There will also be stage activities, such as one in which the comedic pair Yoiko will compete in Nintendo Switch Sports and another in which some of the greatest players will compete in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Finally, people who participate in certain games will have the possibility to win rewards.
