Nintendo Minute – Point of reflection following Nintendo’s San Francisco office closure

Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang used to present Nintendo Minute, a weekly show on Nintendo’s YouTube channel that aired new episodes every Friday.  However, the series abruptly halted in December, leaving fans to speculate as to why Nintendo Minute had come to an end.

There are no longer any questions, owing to a recent interview the two conducted with MinnMax.

Time to move on

MinnMax questioned Kit and Krysta about their decision to leave. The former said that “the reason, I mean, it’s fairly easy actually…the office we were at in California is shutting down.” “Everyone was offered the choice to make the move up to Redmond,” Ellis stated. And I believe it was a turning moment for us – it’s time to consider what we’ve done and achieved, as well as what we may be able to do in the future. No, I believe we’re content here — we’re both from the region, so it’s a fresh start.”

Krysta, on the other hand, had a similar reaction. “Definitely a spark into thinking about what may possibly come next,” she added of the office shutdown. After 13-14 years in the same place, you can’t help but think it’s time for a change, something new, as much as we both liked working at Nintendo.”
