Nintendo won’t be at E3 2023, confirmed by statement

The news that Nintendo would not be present at E3 2023 has been confirmed by the company. In addition, an official statement has been made available to the public.

The most important thing to take away from this is that Nintendo said that “the E3 event this year didn’t fit into our plans.” The corporation did make an acknowledgement that it has “been and continues to be a significant supporter of the ESA and E3.”

Nintendo’s E3 2023 statement

“We evaluate our participation in every event on a case-by-case basis, and we are always thinking about the many different ways we may interact with our supporters.” We have come to the conclusion that we will not be participating in this year’s E3 event since our schedules do not permit it. Despite this, the ESA and E3 have always had and will continue to have our unwavering support.

A month ago, there were rumors that Nintendo, along with PlayStation and Xbox, would not be attending this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Given the length of time that it has been a part of the performance, it is probably most surprising that The Big N will not be appearing. Nintendo Directs and other forms of social media are only two of the many channels available to the company for communicating with its devoted fanbase.

The dates for E3 2023 have been set for the 13th through the 16th of June. While the organizers have not yet made the attendance announcements public, Ubisoft has said that they would be attending the event.
