Rare Studio – Possibility other studios working with our IPs

Acclaimed former Nintendo developer Rare has said recently it’s thinking about the possibility of letting another studio handle some of its beloved IPs if the opportunity arises.

The company is owned by Microsoft and has produced a number of games on the Xbox platform and more recently for the PC.

Which Studio?

Well we know that rumors are buzzing of Banjo and Kazooie making it to Sma5h. We are not sure if this ties in with that rumor. But if one company would be ideal to work with the IPs’ … Nintendo is a dead right shoe-in for it.

But what if it was not going to be the Big N?

It would be interesting to see if Microsoft would let a studio like Activision use their IPs and bring them to other platforms (PS4 and Nintendo Switch). As always, we shall just have to wait and see what unfolds from it at all.

Well we would LOVE to see former IPs come anywhere really … Rare has been such an amazing part of gaming history that their IPs should be utilized in a good way. Unlike now where they are … well pretty much non-existent.
