Sakurai – Kid Icarus Uprising on a home console would be something

In a recent video, the endearing Masahiro Sakurai discussed his fantastic Nintendo 3DS game Kid Icarus Uprising. Although the game itself was excellent, its unwieldy controls on the Nintendo 3DS hardware eventually let it down.

He expresses his desire for the game to be ported to a Nintendo home system and makes it clear that he genuinely wants this to happen. Who knows? Interestingly, we learned a few months ago that Bandai Namco had been hired to develop a 3D action game for a Nintendo remaster or remake. It’s possible that Kid Icarus Uprising is now being ported to the Nintendo Switch.

“Playing Kid Icarus: Uprising on a home console would be amazing. I wonder whether it will ever be ported by someone. *grin* “

About Kid Icarus Uprising

The reappearance of Medusa, the Queen of the Underworld, and her Underworld Army marks the beginning of the game’s narrative. Pit, a brave angel, must face the powers of evil as he engages Medusa and her henchmen both on ground and in the air with the aid of Palutena, the goddess of light and protector of the human race.

The control system in Kid Icarus: Uprising was created to complement the game’s unique mix of flying, shooting, and melee fighting. The control scheme also delivers incredible accuracy, speed, and depth that rewards devoted players. Both hands simultaneously operate the Circle Pad and a stylus with the left hand. Each copy of the game will also include a complimentary stand that elevates the Nintendo 3DS off of any flat surface to provide gamers a fresh gaming experience.

Collectible weapons come in a huge variety and provide a ton of replay value. Players may choose the weapon that is most suited for each fight and their playing style by learning about each of the nine distinct kinds of weaponry, which range from Bows to Claws.

The Fiend’s Cauldron, a remarkable new mechanism in the game, enables players choose their preferred Intensity for each individual Chapter, ranging from 0.0 to 9.0. This feature allows players to completely customize their gaming experience. Enemies get more aggressive, have more energy, and attack harder as the Intensity rises, but players may gain more hearts and more potent weapon drops by beating them. Players may also buy new weapons using hearts. Players may accurately alter the usual Intensity setting, which is set at 2.0, in increments of 0.1. Players must wager by dropping an increasing amount of hearts into the Fiend’s Cauldron in order to boost the Intensity. If the player loses the Chapter, they will lose several hearts, and the Intensity will automatically decrease.

With the Circle Pad Pro attachment, left-handed gamers may use a different control method for Kid Icarus: Uprising. With the Circle Pad Pro, the player controls the Circle Pad with their right hand while holding the stylus with their left hand.
