Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie – $119.6 million in North America

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 was released in North American theaters, marking the blue blur’s return to the silver screen. So far, it seems that the film has been a hit!

According to Variety, the film grossed $30 million in its second weekend from 4,258 North American theaters. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has now grossed a total of $119.6 million in North America alone, in addition to its excellent opening weekend of $71 million!

Sonic is ready for more freedom now that he’s settled in Green Hills, so Tom and Maddie agree to leave him at home while they go on vacation.
