Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, has been hard at work on creating a brand new game.
If you don’t know who ConcernedApe is, he is the creator of Stardew Valley. Stardew Valley was a very successful game that has released on many platforms, including various Nintendo consoles. That said, fans have known for a while now that a new game has been in the works, but nothing more had been said since.
ConcernedApe released a brand new trailer for his next game. The game is called Haunted Chocolatier.

ConcernedApe isn’t sure what genre it belongs in yet, as the game has been evolving as development continues. However, ConcernedApe did say that a core aspect of the gameplay involves “gathering ingredients, making chocolate, and running a chocolate shop”. Only single-player is planned.
ConcernedApe also explained that, “if Stardew Valley mostly channeled the energy of the sun, Haunted Chocolatier channels the energy of the moon. Both are vital”.
As for the release date and the platforms it will release on, information on that will have to wait. ConcernedApe said that, even though the game may look like it is very far in development, he says that “there is still a ton of stuff to do”. So, a release date is not possible at this time, and he can only confirm a PC release for now.
