502 Studios has made the announcement that an anthology of fast-paced arcade games called 502’s Arcade is now being developed for the Nintendo Switch.
We do not currently have a release window planned for anything beyond the phrase “coming soon.”
About 502’s Arcade
The objective of the many games contained in 502’s Arcade is for players to get to the top of the leaderboards (daily, weekly, and all-time) in their respective categories. The game has a variety of gameplay styles, such as a dungeon crawler that takes place in a procedurally generated temple and challenges players to bind evil spirits; a puzzle that tasks players with fulfilling the demands of a busy potion store; and more. The level of difficulty varies from game to game, but there are a number of milestones for players to acquire along the route.
The developer, 502 Studios, claims that their project will evoke “that good old sense of rivalry you received while visiting to the arcade.” However, users will also be able to “simply have fun and push themselves by attempting to collect all the achievements for each game.” You are free to choose how long you want to spend playing, whether it a few minutes or a few hours.
502’s Arcade will be available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop as a digital download for the Nintendo Switch. In the not too distant future, we will have further coverage, including a definitive release date.
