Advance Wars 1+2 release date to be shared once determined

WayForward‘s Advance Wars Re-Boot Camp 1+2 is a game that has already been finished but was missing from the recent Nintendo Direct presentation.

The game has been delayed a few times. It was supposed to come out in December 2021, but it was pushed back to April 2022. After Russia invaded Ukraine, it was pushed back even more. The collection of Advance War remakes still doesn’t have a release date, so Stephen Totilo of Axios talked to Nintendo of America to find out what’s going on with the game. One of the company’s representatives told him, “The release has been pushed back. Once the new date has been set, we’ll let you know.”

About Advance Wars Re-Boot Camp 1+2

As a tactical adviser for the Orange Star Army, you will be in charge of an army in strategic turn-based battles. As you move land, air, and sea units around the battlefield, you need to use your skills. Kill enemy units and take over their towns and bases to win and keep the peace. As you lead different units across different maps, keep an eye on how the game’s terrain and weather change. This remake has two campaigns that cover what happened in Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.

Fight with Commanding Officers who know what they’re doing

You can defend your land with the help of Andy, Max, Sami, and other Commanding Officers, each of whom has their own specialties and CO Powers. Andy can fix up units, while Sami can make troops stronger. Your opponents can also use their own CO skills. Both on the battlefield and in the story, the COs you meet during both campaigns are very important.

Get some friends together and see who is the best strategist.

When you’re not trying to keep the peace in one of the two campaign stories, you can show off your army-commanding skills in Versus Mode*. On dozens of maps, up to four people can fight. Each player picks a CO from either campaign and can use their CO Powers in a smart way to change the course of the battle. You can change how you fight by choosing options like funds per allied base and fog of war.
