About Alan Wake Remastered

In Alan Wake Remastered, you must fight against the light.

Return to the enigmatic hamlet of Bright Falls in this remaster of Remedy Entertainment’s (Control, Max Payne) award-winning cinematic action game, including updated graphics and additional features.

Alan Wake, a troubled novelist, begins on a frantic hunt for his missing wife, Alice. Following her strange disappearance from the Pacific Northwest village of Bright Falls, he finds pages of a horror fiction he claims to have written but cannot recall.

Wake is quickly forced to doubt his sanity as the tale unfolds before his eyes, page by page: a hostile spirit of magical darkness is taking over everyone it encounters and turning them against him.

He has no option but to fight the powers of darkness, equipped only with a flashlight, a revolver, and the shattered pieces of his consciousness. His harrowing trek to discover answers to the mind-bending conundrum he confronts will take him far into the night.
