Nintendo published their latest financial results for the fiscal year ending in March 2021, revealing their highest selling Nintendo Switch title.
Millions and millions
In total, Nintendo Switch software sales grew by around 36.8% for a total figure of 230.88 million units.
According to the figures, 36 Nintendo Switch games sold over a million copies from April 2020 to 31st March 2021, 22 of which were published by Nintendo. Unsurprisingly, Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the topseller at a whopping 20.85 million sales.
It should be noted that these are ‘sell-in’ figures reflecting the numbers sent out to retailers as opposed to the numbers bought by consumers but still … an amazing amount.
