Kirin deploys a mission from her organization, Shadow Yakumo, to deal with the one-and-only Gunvolt as the world’s lone Adept with the ability to seal others’ Septimas. Gunvolt, the Adept once known as the Azure Striker, has evolved into a “Primal Dragon” and has been imprisoned beneath 1000 holy swords.
As the tale continues, more and more intriguing individuals appear, speaking fully spoken dialogue without interrupting the fast-paced action, owing to the Story Mode+ technology.

Introduction to the Story
Humanity awakened to a new power known as “Septima” in the near future. Humans having this ability were known as “Adepts,” and the number of Adepts constantly rose as more Adepts were born.
“Eden,” a group of these Adepts, sought to establish their dominance over the planet, only to have their plans thwarted by Gunvolt. Gunvolt, on the other hand, found himself evolving to a new power beyond Septimas at the conclusion of innumerable encounters.
The Sumeragi Group’s shadowy sibling organization, Shadow Yakumo, finally learned about the emergence of this next-level force. Shadow Yakumo then ordered their battle priestess Kirin to seal Gunvolt’s waking with her Septima, Radiant Fetters, to prevent him from awakening.
