Bandai Namco filed trademarks for Waffuu Encore and 1&2 Encore in Japan. The word “Encore” is typically used for remastered game releases that Bandai Namco publishes.
Waffuu is a catch phrase of Klonoa, the protagonist character from the franchise that shares the same name. Both trademarks may be suggesting that remasters of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil may be on the way. A new title just seems to far out of the realms of possibilities if you ask us.
