About Bayonetta

A witch comes back to life in a coffin at the bottom of a murky lake. Bayonetta is an epic game that you can play on Nintendo Switch anytime, anywhere.

When it first came out in 2010, the first chapter of the Bayonetta saga was a memorable introduction to “climax action,” an explosive mix of fast-paced action and saucy style. Bayonetta has a gun in each hand and one on each foot. She uses combo moves that are as beautiful as they are deadly to kill her enemies.

Dodging enemy attacks at just the right time will let you activate Witch Time. Once it’s on, your opponents will be slowed down and helpless against your barrage of kicks, punches, and bullets. You can then kill them with a powerful Torture Attack. Bayonetta will not be stopped by an angel.

Angels and demons

Bayonetta travels through the remote European city of Vigrid, fighting off the armies of Paradiso and learning the truth about her long-lost past. As Bayonetta kills more and more powerful angels, you’ll meet memorable people like the famous demon-smith Rodin, the information sniffer Enzo, and many others.

Bayonetta is a truly spellbinding experience. It has a cast of unforgettable characters, an epic story, and voice acting in both English and Japanese.

About Bayonetta 2

Players will be on the edge of their seats from the beginning to the end of this climactic sequel to the critically acclaimed action game Bayonetta. This game is full of amazing battles and beautiful cut scenes, and the action never stops. It has been brought back to life on Nintendo Switch.

Fight on the top of a jet as it flies over a city center. Fight against a huge angelic monster with a whip-like arm that is sitting on top of a moving train. As you climb to the top of a skyscraper, you can fight a demon dragon in the sky.

The witch has returned

The powerful witch Bayonetta was made when the Lumen Sages and the Umbra Witches got together against their will and had a child. She travels from a long time ago to the present day. With her graceful way of fighting and unmatched magical abilities, she captivates and scares her opponents right before they die.

Bayonetta has deadly weapons and skills, and her enemies can’t figure out how to stop her moves and torture attacks. Using magic, she can use a skill called “Umbran Climax” to call on demons and use their powerful attacks over and over again.

Play your way

Pick between Classic play and Touch play. The Classic Controls are Bayonetta’s unique way of controlling the game. Fans of the original game love it, and action game fans in general will enjoy it. The Touch Controls, on the other hand, make it easier to play for people who aren’t used to action games or just want to try something new. The touch screen on the Nintendo Switch makes it easy for players to move, attack, and avoid enemies as Bayonetta.

Jeanne, who has known Bayonetta for a long time and is also an Umbra Witch, seems to help Bayonetta do combo attacks and give enemies a lot of damage. You can even bring all the action with you and play whenever and wherever you want.

Only on the version for the Nintendo Switch

In the local and online multiplayer Tag Climax mode, you can team up with a friend across the room or around the world to fight through waves of enemies. Choose from a number of strong characters and beat up angels and demons in a way that is both brutal and beautiful.

By tapping compatible amiibo (which are sold separately), you can instantly give Bayonetta Nintendo-themed outfits, weapons, and more to use.
