Game Informer continued coverage of the upcoming Platinum Games game Bayonetta 3, and they gave fans a glimpse at Viola, one of the new playable characters joining the formidable Bayonetta. This is Viola

When the Homunculi invade her universe and battle Bayonetta there, Viola makes her first appearance in the prologue in the other realm. The alternative Luka prevents Viola from helping her.

Following the Homunculi onslaught, Bayonetta, Jeanne, Enzo, and Rodin are seeking safety at The Gates of Hell immediately after the game’s Prologue. Viola storms into the pub as the witches deliberate their next move, greeting Bayonetta and Jeanne with a familiar greeting, but neither is aware of who she is.

When she realizes this, Viola says that she is from a parallel universe where she is acquainted with both of them and that she is on a quest to locate Sigurd, a scientist, and a piece of equipment known as a Chaos Gear in order to halt the Homunculi. Bayonetta and Cheshire are both taken to the island of Thule, a point of intersection between several realities, by Viola, who asserts that both of them will be required to save the multiverse from crumbling. Cheshire is summoned to demonstrate her abilities.

Viola’s look

Viola is a young lady with short, blonde hair that is trimmed in a symmetrical pixie cut and is laced with blue streaks and pink coloring on the back of her head, which has been shaved. She has two piercings on her left ear in the shape of a cat head, brilliant purple and blue makeup, and blue lipstick.

Viola has a white graphic blouse that bares her midriff underneath a black leather jacket that is embellished with spikes and buckles at the shoulders and wrists. She seems to have several of the spiked darts she can toss about her waist and has a holster for her sword around the back of the jacket. Her leggings are of a similar style but are red in color, and her belt is made up of multiple blue tartan pouches. She is dressed in black leather boots that are slightly below the knee high.

Viola wears a crimson and gold tosogu holder on her back to carry her katana, Mabu-Dachi.

About Bayonetta 3

The witch has returned and she is stronger than ever!
