Publisher Team17 and developer The Game Kitchen shared a major update about gothic horror game Blasphemous.
Firstly, the game will be receiving one more final major update on December 9th 2021. This update will add a brand new chapter called Wounds Of The Evertide which will be the concluding chapter to Blasphemous’ story.

Join the Penitent One on his final trial in Blasphemous, with the introduction of the game’s final DLC chapter, Wounds of Eventide, available for free on December 9th, as well as a teaser for the sequel coming in 2023.

Secondly, the team has confirmed that Blasphemous II is in the works, planned for release in 2023. At the time of this writing, no specific platforms for the sequel have been announced.Â
