Team17 and Rekka Games are working together to put Bravery & Greed on the Nintendo Switch. The title will be out in the second half of 2022.
About Bravery & Greed
Bravery & Greed is a cooperative beat-em-up dungeon brawler that lets up to four people play at once. It combines fantasy arcade gameplay with permadeath and roguelike elements, and the goal is to get as much gold and treasure as possible.
Players can pick from four classes: the nimble Rogue, the brave Warrior, the strange Wizard, or the strong Amazon. Each one has unique skills and abilities.
There will be a number of game modes, such as Adventure Mode, which will have a traditional campaign with different environments and enemies for players to fight. There will also be a mode called “Horde Mode,” in which waves of enemies that never stop coming will make the game harder and harder. There are also plans for PvP modes. Multiplayer games can be played both locally and online.
In Bravery & Greed, when it comes to combat, players can parry, dodge, and juggle abilities to cast destructive spells on enemies, bosses, and even allies who don’t know what’s coming. Dungeons are also places where players can find things to equip, like gloves, boots, amulets, and wands.
Items have ties to four different paths in the game, and each path has benefits that change how you play. Once a player picks a path, they have to stay on it until they die. Followers that look like people or are animals can also be found in levels to fight with players.
